Helberg attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where he trained at The Atlantic Theater Company and is an accomplished pianist. Online, he also played the role of Moist in the Internet cult sensation Dr. His other feature film credits include Old School, For Your Consideration and Judd Apatow's Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. He has appeared in the Academy Award® nominated films A Serious Man from the Coen Brothers, and George Clooney's Good Night, and Good Luck.
